What We Do

The Mental Health | Policy | Economics group is deeply committed to ensuring that our work has a meaningful and translational impact.

Drawing from the Mental Health | Policy | Economics group diverse skills, we use a global perspective to mental health, with a dedication to actionable, evidence-based research.

The team disseminates our findings, not just within academic journals, but also more broadly to engage the general public through various media channels engaging in policy initiatives. Moreover, we are dedicated to nurturing the next wave of interdisciplinary experts in mental health policy and health economics.

Following the Mental Health | Policy | Economics group in 2023, we are expecting to add affiliated researchers and graduate students, as well as hosting events and seminars.

Within the broader academic landscape, members of the group hold affiliations with prestigious institutions and contribute to major initiatives, indicative of their widespread influence and recognition in the field.

Within the wide-ranging scope of the Mental Health | Policy | Economics group’s work lies a distinct emphasis on the interface between health economics, mental health and policy and how to improve population health through the use of translation research.
